Bernina Free Hand System (FHS)
Get ready to save time and achieve perfect results with the BERNINA Free Hand System (FHS). The Bernina L460 comes equipped with the Bernina Free Hand System which gives you the ability to raise and lower the presser foot with your knee. This noticeably improves clearance under the presser foot, which in turn facilitates fabric handling.

Sew Up To 1,500 Stitches Per Minute
The BERNINA Foot Control and DC motor allow a top speed of up to 1,500 stitches per minute on the Bernina L460. For your convenience, the Bernina L 460 can also perform stitch-by-stitch sewing, which gives you the ability to easily work with delicate or heavy fabrics that require extra care in handling.

Slide-On-Table
The Bernina L460 comes with a slide-on-table that's designed to extend the sewing area to the left of the needle. Now you can easily guide large fabrics and get a better overview of your sewing project. The slide-on-table is easy to attach and detach.

Micro Thread Control (mtc)
