3 Day Bernina Overlocker Retreat with Sara Gallegos

In this 3 day retreat, Serger Enthusiast Sara Gallegos will guide you through the basics of your Bernina 8-thread Overlocker. You will learn how to thread and adjust your favorite stitches, tips for working with difficult fabrics, corners, curves and more! Additionally, you'll play with the many optional accessory feet available for Bernina overlockers and an assortment of fun, decorative thread! This is a techniques based class so there will not be a completed project; however, material and thread will be provided in your kit to make stitch samples.
Lunch each day and a fabric & thread kit is provided.
Class content is based off the Bernina "Big Book of Serging", so it is highly recommended and can be purchased at a 20% discount from Decorative Stitch!
**Please note, this class is for Bernina L850, 860 & 890 sergers. Coverstitch will be covered on day 3. If you do not have a cover stitch machine, we can share!**
If you don't own a Bernina Overlocker but would like a hands-on opportunity to try, we will gladly provide one for class use.
