We’re SEW excited to announce that Annette will be guiding you through the creation of the stylish and ever-popular Tamarack Jacket from Grainline Studio. Designed with the transitional seasons in mind, this quilted coat is perfect for layering during the cool spring and fall months. With its cozy inner batting layer, you’ll stay warm, while the perfectly placed patchwork pockets provide both functionality and charm, keeping your hands toasty and your belongings safe.

Annette will walk you through all the prep work you'll need to complete before the main classes and answer any questions you may have.

Main Classes:
Monday, May 12th & Tuesday, May 13th
10:00am - 3:30pm
These two full-day sessions will guide you through the construction of your Tamarack Jacket.

Prerequisites:
We recommend that participants have garment making experience, such as sewing seams, hemming, and attaching sleeves. While we won’t be focusing on pattern fitting during this class, a solid foundation in garment sewing will help you get the most out of this experience. Annette will provide plenty of guidance throughout, but a prior garment-making knowledge will help you feel more comfortable as you work through the project. We’re excited to see what you create!

Notes:

1. The image features a collar, but for this class, we will be creating a simple biased bound neckline without a collar. 

2. Patterns are available for purchase at Decorative Stitch, in sizes 0-18 and 14-32.

3. The fabric used in the sample is available for purchase in-store.
