By the end of the class, you'll not only have a beautiful potholder but also the skills to save and recreate the design at home for more holiday creations!

Baby Lock Machine with IQ Designer Technology
8"x12" or larger hoop
Embroidery threads: Polyester for embroidery; and polyester or cotton for quilting. (Rayon is not a good choice as it does not tolerate heat.)
Bobbins: 2 bobbins filled with bobbin thread, 2 extra empty bobbins
90/14 Needles
Washaway mesh-type stabilizer
Embroidery tape
Curved applique scissors
Your favorite sewing notions
Optional: Mouse (wired, not Bluetooth) or stylus for screen

Skills used: IQ Design, Embroider, Binding

IQ Designer: Create shape; change size, line styles, fills; send to Embroidery. Save to Memory and Recall from Memory.

Embroidery: Place a design and position it using the Add, Rotate and Move features in Embroidery
mode. Add text. Save to Memory and Recall from Memory. Adjust embroidery foot
height.

Sewing: Create and add binding with loop

Kit includes: Fabrics, batting, Insul-Brite, and fusible woven interfacing for one potholder; all 4
embroidery designs (Fall, Christmas, Let it Snow, Cheers)
