2 Day Bernina Overlocker Retreat with Sara Gallegos

In this 2 day retreat, Serger Enthusiast Sara Gallegos will guide you through the basics of your Bernina L 8 series, and we will go over some coverstitch. If you do not have a coverstitch machine, we will share with you! You will learn how to thread and adjust your favorite stitches, tips for working with difficult fabrics, corners, curves and more! Additionally, you'll play with the many optional accessory feet available for Bernina overlockers, and more. This is a techniques-based class.
If you've been thinking about purchasing a serger this is a GREAT try before you buy class. You will learn the machine inside and out, and leave feeling confident and ready for projects on your own.
A light lunch is provided each day.
If you don't own a Bernina Overlocker (serger) but would like a hands-on opportunity to try, we will gladly provide one for class use. Please just let us know when you sign up for the retreat.
This is a beginner friendly class!
