Learn to Quilt with Sara Gallegos 2023

Have you ever wanted to learn how to quilt? We’ve got a class for you. Join us for this three-part series, where you will learn to Quilt with Sara Gallegos, host of Fons & Porter’s TV show “Love of Quilting”. During this hands-on class you will gain confidence creating a pieced table topper. This is a BEGINNER level, no experience needed class.

Session 1: Monday, September 18th, 2023 | 10:30am - 2:30pm
Sara will help you select your fabric from the wide selection we offer at Decorative Stitch. You will also learn how to properly prep and cut your fabric.

Session 2: Monday, October 2nd, 2023 | 10:30am - 2:30pm
In this class Sara will teach you accurate block construction techniques and many ways to achieve a perfect ¼” Seam Allowance.

Session 3: Monday, October 16th, 2023 | 10:30am - 2:30pm
During this class you will work on adding borders and learn simple quilting techniques.
