Join National Baby Lock Educator Richard Tharp for an educational journey into the awesome Baby lock Sashiko Sewing Machine!
You will learn many of the specialty heirloom sewing techniques the Baby Lock Sashiko machine offers including:
- Smocking
- Couching
- Ruffling
- Braiding
- Curving
- So Much More!
You will also learn all the basics of maintenance, tension settings, attachments & fabric choices that make the Sashiko a unique and incredible sewing experience!
While exploring and learning the machine, you will create two interesting projects, the Haori Kimoni Wrap and Origami Quilted Bag. All of the fabrics and threads for these beautiful projects are included in your class fee.
Don't own a Sashiko machine but want to play?? Let us know! We will gladly provide one for you.
